Trails End has sixty-four campsites set in a wooded area on ten acres. Most of the sites (56) are rented seasonally, which gives Trails End its own “neighborhood” feel. The A-frame lodge is the place where the seasonal campers hold pot lucks, cribbage tournaments, birthday/anniversary parties, etc. that add to the enjoyment of all. For our overnight guests, we have full-hook-up sites, .....

We are located on the northwest side of Nelson Lake, approximately one-quarter mile above the big dam. Nelson Lake Lodge can be reached quickly by taking Highway 27 North from Hayward, about seven miles to the Nelson Lake dam. As you cross the bridge on 27, immediately take a right by the 'Wayside sign'. Go up the road 100 yards and take another right on Lodge Road.
