Waterhouses has been on Lake Dunmore since 1876 and is located just east of Route 7, 8 miles south of Middlebury and 7 miles north of Brandon. Take Route 53 1 mile and bear right. Continue 1 more mile and the campground is on the right and the marina is on the left. Registration is at the marina. All sites at Waterhouses have water and electric. Branbury State Park is on Lake Dunmore and has 22 tent sites and 6 lean-tos in a wooded area and 17 grassy tent sites located near the beach. The park is adjacent to outstanding hiking trails to scenic vistas, waterfalls, caves, and mountain lakes. The park has a beautiful sand beach, playground, picnic area, boat rentals, concession, and nature center. Interpretive programs are available. .....
