Waterhouses has been on Lake Dunmore since 1876 and is located just east of Route 7, 8 miles south of Middlebury and 7 miles north of Brandon. Take Route 53 1 mile and bear right. Branbury State Park is on Lake Dunmore and has 22 tent sites and 6 lean-tos in a wooded area and 17 grassy tent sites located near the beach.
