Meadowcrest Campground is located on Route 2, 14 miles east of Montpelier, our capital, or 2 miles west of Marshfield.We offer 16 sites - 14 WES (2 with 50 amps) and 2 tent sites with WE. On VT Route 232, 3 miles south of Route 2, exit 21 off I-91, 10 miles north of Route 302, exit 17 off I-91. Halfway between St. Johnsbury and Barre. Spacious open field with beautiful view. 30 sites, WE, groups welcome, clean restrooms, hot showers, pool, playground. Dumping station. Modem hookups. Several lakes within 10 minutes. 5 minutes to Marshfield Dam.

Kettle Pond State Park is a group camping area in Groton State Forest with 27 lean-tos, grouped into 5 separate areas, 7 remote leantos and one campsite located on the shore for individuals. Located 5 miles from US Route 2 south on VT Route 232 to New Discovery State Park. Check in with New Discovery State Park Ranger for directions to Kettle Pond.

New Discovery State Park is within Groton State Forest and includes 46 tent/trailer sites, 15 lean-tos, remote camping on Osmore Pond (only reachable by boat or on foot), and a picnic shelter for group rentals. This is one of two state parks that allow horse camping; call for details. Located 5 miles south of US Route 2 on VT Route 232.
