Thunder Valley Campground© is nestled in the heart of Thunder Valley USA. In the late 60's Bristol Motor Speedway was nick named Thunder Valley due to the beautiful valley it was built in and all the racing thunder that has been created at every race since. Thunder Valley Campground was created and built by Randy Moore the son of Carl Moore, one of the original founders of the Bristol Motor .....

Our sites are 24' wide while most of the campsites at other campgrounds in Bristol are only 20' wide or less. Check it out. Our sites are very spacious - a minumum of 24x40 and most are longer (including our tent sites). We can handle the largest RV's. We are Bristol's largest campground with over 113 acres - We always have room for you and we don't crowd you in.. We take you to and from track .....

We are located in Holston Valley just across the ridge from South Holston Lake near Observation Knob Park. Browse our site and let us hear from you. We are proud of our new All-Weather Indoor Arena.
