Whispering Pines Campground
Whispering Pines Campground is located between Bucksport and Ellsworth in the Penobscot/Acadia area on U.S. Route 1 in a beautiful natural setting, owned and operated by the Gates family since 1977. We are a small, 50 site, family-oriented campground situated on a beautiful, 10 mile long, 130 foot deep lake. It is called "Toddy Pond", because a narrow lake in Maine is called a pond.
