Lake Buchanan is the second largest of the Highland Lakes with a length of 30 miles and 124 miles of shoreline. Hi-Line Lake Resort is set on the west shore, allowing panoramic views and an excellent opportunity for all kinds of activities. Fishing is at the top of the list with an abundance of striped bass and white bass. Other fish species include catfish, crappie and largemouth bass. Guests can cast a line from the fishing dock, which is enclosed for year-round fishing. Fish inside or outside anytime you like! Hi-Line Lake Resort also provides a boat ramp, so guests can enjoy boating.

The sandy beach features a large-roped off swimming area and lots of room to sunbathe. Other areas of the beach are used for jet-skis and boats.

There is also a new, rectangular pool that is designed for volleyball; nets and balls are provided. Other activities at Hi-Line Lake Resort include picnicking, taking a nature walk along the shores of the lake and riding bikes. Hi-Line Lake Resort is also a great place for family reunions and club gatherings. In addition to the activities and amazing accommodations, groups can also enjoy the new meeting hall, the lodge retreat and a pavilion for outdoor meals, dances, entertainment and more!
