American Campground is your destination RV Park that is open year round. American Campground is located just 8 miles west of Walmart on Highway 90 West in Historic Del Rio, Texas. We are close enough to town for convenient shopping and entertainment, yet far enough away to enjoy a relaxed, quiet lifestyle.

For you hunters, fisherman, and loafing vacationers, we have cabins for rent--bring your own bedding. Church and civic groups who want to stay with us receive a special rate.

All you retired military will be glad to know that we have Laughlin Airforce base just 16 miles away that has a most excellent clinic which caters to us old retired codgers.

We are just north (3 miles) of the Mexican border, and the fine city of Acuna, Mexico (about 12 miles)is clean, friendly and safe. They allow no beggars in the tourist area. American Campground offers tours to Acuna with our own extremely entertaining tour guide, Chico.
