Alamogordo Roadrunner Campground, Alamogordo, New Mexico
Located in town, in a green oasis of shade trees, the park is a short drive to a number of local attractions, including the Space Center and the White Sands National Monument. Alamogordo Roadrunner Campground is located at the base of the beautiful Sacramento Mountains. Our park offers the best of two worlds, the High Sonoran Desert on upward to the Alpine-like heights of the Sacramento Mountains. A spectacular drive leads east eighteen miles and up one mile in altitude, to 8800 feet.

Sparkling blue skies and great weather beckon hot air ballonists, hikers, climbers, and hang gliders. Golf is available year round.

The Coffee Corner is a gathering place for snowbirds in the winter and families in the summer. A small oven, microwave, drinks, frozen snacks and ice cream are available for a quick treat.

Spectacular sunsets, brillant stars at night, soft breezes, and mild temperatures all add to the enjoyment of the Land of Enchantment.
