The “Barn”-a Very Special Place was built in mid 2003. The one word that is used most often to describe it is “Perfect!”

Our Rock Cottages were all remodeled in 2004 and now all feature a Jacuzzi for 2 and a Fireplace. From “A Tuscany Dream” to “A Santa Fe Sunset” these cottages offer a great retreat!

Our new Treehouses, which are perched in the trees premiered in May 2005. Not at all what you would expect in the way of furnishing, well except for maybe one. “Elaine’s Treehouse” which is reminiscent of my childhood. I always wanted a Treehouse. The other two, well I won’t spoil the surprise, but I will give you a hint. For one of them think NEW YORK CITY!!!

Now if you are on a tight budget but would like something more than a white motel room, we also have themed “Lodge” rooms! One of these was used for a few scenes in a Billy Bob Thornton movie “Chrystal”, which was filmed in June of 2003! A Sampling of Lodge rooms is “Get Your Kicks on Route 66”-with an old gas pump, drive-in speakers and a jukebox radio at the table, “The Sweet Little Room”-which got it name from so many guests saying "This is such a sweet little room" and of course “Thornton’s Queen Suite” and a couple others!
