This unique 1913 historic Southern Colonial home was ordered from the Sears Roebuck catalogue. The Milton House Bed and Breakfast is one of 100,000 Sears homes ordered and assembled by the owners. There are many in existence today, two here on Main Street, Stanley attesting to the quality and design of their construction. The Milton House Bed and Breakfast derives it’s name from the Model name in the mail order catalog.

The Inn has a Three Diamond Award from AAA and is located in the bucolic town of Stanley, Virginia, 7 miles south of Luray in the Shenandoah River Valley near the famous Luray Caverns and Skyline Drive.
