Halcyon Farm Bed & Breakfast, Amsterdam, New York
Halcyon Farm B&B is 5 miles south of Amsterdam (exit 27 off I-90), in historic Mill Point along the Schoharie river. The 7,000 sq foot Federal brick home, once a tavern, was built from 1790 to 1819 and sits between 300 acres of hay fields and woods and the high "Blue Bank" cliff. The steep stagecoach trail which skirts this cliff survives to this day and is accessible for hiking. Arrange for a massage during your stay. We will happily arrange to pick up boaters or bikers - the Mohawk River bike trail (bikeway) at Auriesville is 5 miles and the boat dock at Riverlink Park is 5 miles. Saratoga and Cooperstown are a 40 minute drive. Bridal and baby showers accommodated.
