Our Shenandoah Mountain Lodge has hosted large families, family reunions, corporate retreats and groups of friendly people. It boasts a large 18x22 foot living room with a truly remarkable stone fireplace and French doors opening onto a raised deck. The kitchen is fully equipped and outfitted with barn wood cabinets.

There is a separate dining room where the table expands to seat 12 people, and five -count them - five bedrooms! Exposed beams, paneling and wood or stone accents throughout add to the mountain ambiance of this unique lodge. Outside, there is a party sized charcoal grill/smoker and large picnic table. The Lodge is positioned in a rustic, mountain setting where the forest comes almost to the door. Giant oak trees, wild flowers, mountain laurel and the dense greenery of the forest are all around. Very large groups, requiring more than five bedrooms, have reserved the Lodge plus two or more of our smaller cabins, the closest of which is about 100 yards through the woods.

Nearby activities range from canoeing, tubing, kayaking, swimming and fishing in the South Fork of the Shenandoah River, to hiking and horseback riding in Shenandoah National Park and the George Washington National Forest, to visiting local antique stores and flea markets, to touring civil war battle fields, awesome caverns and nearby vineyards.
