We are located right on the Mississippi River, just down from Lake Pepin. Wabasha (home of the National Eagle Center) is a mile away, with Lake City just 10 miles, Pepin, Wisconsin (home of Laura Ingalls Wilder) is 15, Red Wing & Winona both 35. The entire trip around the lake by car is 86 miles, very easily done in an afternoon.
