Frank B. Anthony RV Park, Springhill, Louisiana
The City of Springhill undertook the development of an unsightly , unused property including an abandoned building into an attractive park with RV sites and a multi-purpose building that can be used by its citizens for any number of events. The site, located in the heart of downtown, was first conceived as a park in 1995. The land was purchased and clearing began. RV sites with full hookups were installed and the front portion of the building was restored to a useable condition. In 2000, plans were made to completely renovate the building into a modern, useful structure.
