Golfers are a chip shot from four Minot courses. Other attractions include the Scandinavian Heritage Center, Pioneer Village, bird-watching at wildlife refuges and summer auto races. For day trips, head south to Lake Sakakawea for excellent fishing and other water sports, mark the geographical center of North America at Rugby or ogle 150,000 flowers at the International Peace Garden at the Canadian border.
