We are close to beaches, marinas, golfing, hiking, biking, shopping, and more. Alpena has the best fireworks in the area on July 4th and is located right near the Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary. Come and explore the shipwrecks! Our area is also known for the Brown Trout Festival in mid July and the Lighthouse festival in early October. Whatever your intersts, you can find them in the Alpena area.
