The Inn on Mapleton Hill, Boulder, Colorado
Come celebrate more than 100 years of hospitality at The Inn on Mapleton Hill, friendly, elegant, affordable and ideally located in Boulder, CO.
While the award-winning Boulder bed and breakfast is just one block from festive Pearl Street -- the heart of shopping, dining and night life -- it fronts on a quiet, residential street in Boulder's grandest historic neighborhood. It is also only two blocks from the Hotel Boulderaldo and its conference center.
The address has been a welcoming haven since 1899, when original owner Emma Clark, a widowed dressmaker and daughter of a Canadian sea captain, took in boarders. The home was transformed into a bed and breakfast in 1991 and is now the only one in Boulder with resident owners.
Mapleton Hill, with its towering maples and cottonwoods and its turn-of-the-century mansions, is a wonderful place to stroll or bike, and hiking trails border it.
The Pearl Street Mall has sealed Boulder's reputation as one of the most vibrant small towns in America, and a 10-minute walk from the Inn is the beautiful campus of the University of Colorado. Boulder's Chautauqua Park and Table Mesa (where the National Center for Atmospheric Research is headquartered) are ideal for picnicking and hiking among the Flatiron peaks. The Indian Peaks Wilderness and the Eldora ski area are 45 minutes away, while Rocky Mountain National Park is just an hour's drive. Denver and its many attractions are 30 minutes away.
