We came here to celebrate my husbands birthday, our kids are still young (2 and 4) so we decided to try the the nearest thing to camping in luxury - a premium cottage at Loon Lake Lodge Resort. We were very disappointed. The beach/swimming area is dirty and tiny. The campsite loud and the cottage - disgusting. There is mold all over the shower. The once clear shower handle is now a brownish green. There are holes in the bathroom with some creepy looking stuff in them and a tap for the sink in the bathroom is missing its cover and is filled with yucky brown stuff. As we are not the rough it out type we expected better a premium cottage at we are paying $130 a night off season. Very disappointing. We are still here and would rather not spend another night here...but it is all paid for and they will not refund us.
