Come to Gettysburg to immerse yourself in the Civil War experience, but come to Cornerstone Farm Bed and Breakfast to relax and escape.
Built in the 1880's, the grounds at Cornerstone were used by Confederate troops for encampment after the first day of the Battle of Gettysburg. Bordered by streams on both east and west, this farmland offered troops and cavalry a much needed source of water and safe haven. Located just seven minutes (four country miles) from downtown Gettysburg, Cornerstone Farm is close to the Battlefield and various tourist attractions but just far enough out of town to assure a quiet night's sleep. For guests seeking a peaceful retreat there are quiet patios, rocking chairs and gardens where you can relax and enjoy the sunset over the South Mountain Range. Watch the horses grazing, stroll our country road or just soak in the peace and quiet.
If peace, quiet and beauty are what you are looking for, you will love Cornerstone Farm Bed & Breakfast. If you delight in nature, white linens, fluffy pillows and comforters you will feel at home. We offer five well-appointed guest rooms, each with a private bath, Jacuzzi or multi-jet shower. Our Spacious living room has a fireplace, and French doors opening to an outdoor deck, manicured gardens and relaxing cabana. We are located in a lovely, peaceful, country setting.
