Ashley Rose Victorian Inn, Cape May, New Jersey
The Ashley Rose was built in 1872 to be the vacation home of the Tuck Family. The current owner, Sally Hulbert, felt that this restored Gothic Revival Victorian should be the summer home to vacationing families again in the 21st century. A house like this one thrives on the laughter of family and friends. Over the past 6 years the house and cottages have been extensively renovated and remodeled. The interiors are have shiny white moldings and trim, updated or new bathrooms and kitchens, and modern amenities such as multi-zoned central ac, hot water circulation system and TV with DVD and cable. Another bonus is the expansive floor plan, which includes dining for at least 18 and 3 huge suites with sitting rooms and TV areas. The extensive list of renovations continues in the off-season in insure the maximum comfort of our vacationers. The house and cottages are available weekly in the summer through fall and are available for long weekends in the off-season and holidays. Just imagine how romantic and warm the holidays would be sitting in front of one of the 3 gas fireplaces. Accommodations can be for as few as 2 people and as many as 30. Call us with your ideas and we will make them reality. We also host weddings (our favorite!), reunions, anniversary parties and business meetings.
