Ideal downtown location in Cape May New Jersey's Primary Historic District, Alexander's Bed and Breakfast Inn and Restaurant is within easy walking distance of the beach and the Victorian Washington Street Mall shopping area. Within the block, Inn guests will find trolley tours, walking tours, horse carriage rides, beautiful shops, bicycle rentals, Cape May's Colonial House Museum, the Fire House Museum & several churches. The Inn offers eight guest rooms all comfortably restored in Victorian style with antiques and details to recreate the elegance of the Victorian era, but with all the twentyfirst century conveniences that enhance modern travel and safety.

We cater to couples on a romantic getaways, honeymooners, and quiet relaxed quality time for you and your partner. Home like atmosphere, Victorian style, means our guests live the luxury of breakfast served to their room in the morning and tea with fresh baked treats presented in the parlor each afternoon. First quality antiques make each guest room distinctive. Modern Conveniences include high speed internet connection either ethernet cable or wireless for your laptop computer. State of the art fire detection with full sprinkler system, modern private baths, TV/VCR, in room telephone with data jacks, hair dryers, bathrobes, parking and Cape May beach passes. Each room controls its own baseboard hot water heat and whisper quiet air-conditioning systems.

Alexander's Guest Rooms are well appointed and spacious with private baths most with king size bed. All rooms include full breakfast which can be served to your room, on the verandah or on the solarium. Afternoon tea, and our elegant five course Sunday Brunch are also included. Beach chairs, outside shower and free off street parking are also included. Base board hot water heat, quiet air-conditioning, color cable TV/VCR as well as a phone with data port and local calls are free.

All guest rooms have private baths, mostly showers, with one antique King size bed. Breakfast is served at 9:00 AM on the Solarium, on the outside verandah or a private romantic breakfast in your room. Afternoon tea is served in the parlor at 4:30 PM, and off street parking is provided. On Sunday, instead of breakfast, an elegant five course Sunday Brunch is served in our dining room.
Our newly restored cottage, built in 1868, directly across the street from the Inn offers two units. "- A large room on the first floor, private enterence, with king size bed and a twin sleeper sofa. Private bath, AC, TV/vcr, free wireless internet
