The beds in the motel are horrible. Bathroom set-up in cabin #3 is horrible; you can barely get to the toilet due to the location of the shower and sink. They have a restaurant but their prices are too high and the "cook" also checks in people and serves ice cream. One day we ate there and Diane cooked; food was GREAT. Second day we had their "cook" make our burgers - they were burned and tasteless and $6.50 a piece. No wonder they have no restaurant business. Everything is "freezer to grill" yet they advertise homemade bread and cinnamon rolls. Not available. Very disappointing. Worst night sleep we've ever had. Cottage beds were better but the bathroom discussed above; refrigerator should be thrown out and stove is a joke. Sofa was covered with an old throw and ready to fall apart. This COULD be a great place, but they need to spend some money on furnishings. Our motel room smelled of urine the entire time. We purchased our cottage/motel through a special on WNEM TV5 and the owner made a point of telling us that he received NOTHING for our stay; made us feel like we were stealing the rooms from him. This was a bad choice at even half the price. We won't return.
