The Inn on Golden Pond, Holderness, New Hampshire
The Inn on Golden Pond is an impressive country home built in 1879, located in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire and in the foothills of the White Mountains. Nearby is Squam Lake, setting for the classic film "On Golden Pond." The Inn does not have lake frontage itself, but visitors will find easy access closeby for a wide variety of water activities. Surrounding the Inn you will find 25 wooded acres with walking trails and peaceful resting spots. Enjoy the open yard area behind the Inn where you can relax in the sun, sip a glass of wine, spread out a picnic lunch, or keep an eye open for some of the area's wildlife. The Inn is known for its refreshingly friendly, yet professional, atmosphere.

There are eight guestrooms, two of which are two-room suites, all with private baths. All of our rooms have air conditioning and individual heating zones. Rates include a full breakfast, and are based on double occupancy.
On the first floor in addition to a large dining room, there are also two sitting rooms. The first room has lots of comfortable sofas and chairs and features a fireplace. In the cool weather curl up next to a crackling fire, read a book, play a game or enjoy conversation with other guests. In the other sitting room you will find a television for those who need to be connected to the outside world.
In the warmer weather guests enjoy our 60' long screened-in porch which stretches the length of the front of the Inn. Also available during the summer and fall is our game room, located in a separate building, which has a ping pong table and a dartboard.
