The White Barn Inn Restaurant is the premier AAA Five Diamond dining establishment of New England. Proprietor Laurence Bongiorno and chef Jonathan Cartwright combine contemporary New England cuisine with exemplary service to create an elegant yet relaxing dining experience. Our restaurant's hours of operation and pricing - Monday - Thursday 6:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Friday - Sunday 5:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. $85 per person prix fixe, excluding beverage, tax and gratuity. The restaurant's extensive wine list includes a wide range of bottles from moderate to expensive, beginning at $24.
Full breakfasts are available at the Inn and guests are also invited for afternoon tea or dinner in the AAA Five Diamond White Barn Inn Restaurant. The Restaurant is recognized as Maine's premier fine dining establishment and by Travel and Leisure as one of the top Five Resort Restaurants in North America. Cottage guests will enjoy all the amenities the Inn has to offer, including heated outdoor brimming pool, bicycles, canoes and ocean cruises aboard the True Blue during the summer season. Every White Barn Inn guest room is appointed with fresh flowers and fruit, plush terry cloth robes, CD system, voice mail and Molton Brown toiletries. Small portable book lights compliment evening turndown service. Additional services available for our guests include morning through evening valet service, same day laundry service and room service at breakfast. All accommodations include a bountiful continental breakfast and afternoon tea.
The White Barn Inn's outdoor heated swimming pool is available for all guests in season. Pool side massage therapy and spa treatments are offered in private cabanas and can be scheduled through the innkeeper. Touring bicycles and canoes are complimentary to all guests in season.
Great care and attention has gone in to creating each charming waterfront cottage with their own private entrances, spectacular river views and waterfront patios. Available nightly or by the week, the cottages are equipped with kitchenettes, wood burning fireplaces, TV, VCR and air conditioning for the summer. The Marina boasts a lovely waterfront clubhouse for the exclusive use of Cottage guests and Marina patrons. Located just 2-tenths of a mile from the Main Inn, each morning Cottage guests may enjoy a Breakfast Basket delivered right to the door, including our hot fresh brewed coffee and teas, home-baked pastries and croissants.
