Come for the value… Stay for the atmosphere. Dog Friendly, LJ's Lodge is a small, country-style lodge located in the green mountains of Stowe, Vermont. Well-mannered dogs are welcome in most of our rooms. When we say dog friendly it doesn’t just mean that we accept dogs we actually enjoy them, we have plenty of room for walks, a large FENCED in play area. Bed and water bowls are provided if needed, plus a special treat for fido.
We will be available to provide ski reports and pointers on the day's weather, the best place to enjoy the great outdoors, and tips for shopping in the area. After your day's adventures, come in and warm up by the fire in the guest lobby, during the winter season, or cool down in the summer with a brisk dip in our outdoor pool. We are happy to make dinner suggestions and call for reservations at any one of our fabulous, nearby restaurants. When evening winds to a close, snuggle up under the comforters in our country-style rooms and get a great night's sleep.
Our comfortable, country style is a welcome retreat at the end of the day's adventures. Quilt-covered beds, lots of pillows, and country-style furniture will make you feel right at home. Relax, read a book, watch a movie, or snuggle up and go right to sleep. Our standard and deluxe rooms have individual baths, in-room coffee makers, phones with free local calls, color TVs with remote control, individually controlled heating and cooling, and the "bottomless" candy dish.
All ten rooms have sweeping mountain views, and feature private baths, in-room coffee, telephones with data ports, and color TV. Each room has individually controlled heating and air-conditioning. The lodge and the rooms are all non-smoking.
A Comfortable Stay...Our Double Room 0 All our double rooms feature two, double-size beds. Each bed has four, fluffy pillows and a cozy quilt. The double rooms also offer rocking chairs - great for end-of-the day relaxation. The doubles also come with a choice of tub/shower combinations or large showers.
Standard and deluxe rooms, regardless of their layout, are a spacious 16 feet by 16 feet. They all have large, sliding glass doors in the front that allow you to take in the full impact of our breath-taking, mountain views. The rooms also have a back door that allow you to walk out on the back deck and enjoy the fresh air. There are five, double rooms available. We also offer one king room (with mini refrigerator and microwave), two queen rooms and two Deluxe Double.
Dog Policies - Age: Dogs must be 6 months of age or older, and have completed thier shots. We require a note from your vet stating that your dog is current on their vaccinations or titers for DHLLP (a.k.a DHL2P or 5 in 1), bordatella and rabies. You can send the note via regular mail, email or you can bring it with you and provide it to us upon check in.
