Primrose House, Dayton, Virginia

Primrose House and Guest Cottage is an 1870’s Victorian built by G.W Hedrick of the G.W. Hedrick Carriage Co., located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley in historic Dayton Va. Just three miles from I-81. Dayton was founded in 1745 when Daniel Harrison settled the area. It is on the Virginia Register and the National Register of Historic Places. The older part of town is largely unchanged. Dayton is home to the oldest Old Order Mennonite Farm Community in the Southern United States

The Primrose House Guest Cottage is unhosted, quiet, cozy and private with French country/shabby chic décor. The cottage has a full kitchen, including dishwasher, cable TV and DVD, queen bed and pull out sofa, private bath with shower, and central air and heat. Continental breakfast served.
