Join your hosts John and Sarah Burleson as they take you for a tour of their 20 acre farm bed and breakfast located just five miles from historic Lexington Virginia in the Shenandoah Valley. Along with their Australian Cattle dog Rosie you may visit with the sheep, chickens, and donkey on the farm, fish in the stream below the farm, bird watch in the woods and pasture (see our bird list) or just relax on the front porch with a drink and enjoy the sounds of nature. For the adventurous at heart we offer horseback riding packages (beginner to advanced) or bring your bike and take in the breathtaking scenery of the area. Lavender Hill Farm offers a convenient yet quiet place to spend a week or a weekend. It can serve equally well as a home base for exploring Lexington and the surrounding area or as a place for rediscovering what a quiet day was meant to be. Sarah and John will be glad to help you plan your day's activities to some of the nearby attractions

Sarah's delicious breakfasts, including family specials, will get your day off to a great start. Eggs from the farm's hens are used in several of the tasty breakfast dishes

Lavender Hill Farm, circa 1790, offers three air-conditioned guestrooms. All the rooms have private baths, independent thermostats, firm beds and ceiling fans. The rooms are individually decorated in a country décor.
