On the crest of a wildflower field in the small town of Bedford, Virginia, our Victorian home sits proudly alongside stately walnut and squirrel-loving pecan trees. The front porch, wrapping the house like an apron, has been bathed in golden sunrises for nearly a century.
Inside, almost every piece of furniture has a history reaching far back into our families' generations, including the screen door from my great-grandfather's house in Kansas! Nature is also very important inside...don't be surprised to find a hummingbird's nest in a teacup, a graceful branch here and there, seashells, chestnuts, pussywillows, peacock feathers...treasures all.
Through the side porch door, you'll walk into your spacious room with canopy bed and private bath. Slip off your shoes, let us pour you a cool glass of lemonade, and take time to JUST BE...
