Miner's Delight Inn Bed & Breakfast, Atlantic City, Wyoming

Welcome to our year-round home in the Wind River Mountains. In 1868, newspapers lured miners here with tales of Sweetwater gold. Prospectors come, still; others too: outdoorsy folks, history buffs, artists, and whisky lovers.

Our century-old inn began life as the Carpenter Hotel in 1904. Through six decades, neither Nellie Carpenter nor her daughter, Ellen, offered televisions, hot tubs, or Internet connections. Neither do we. Our inn accommodates sixteen adult guests in three rooms and five cabins. We serve gourmet breakfasts, which often include Barbara's sourdough bread, a blue-ribbon winner at the 2009 Fremont County Fair.

Sample from Bob's single malt Scotch whisky collection in our Two-bit Cowboy Saloon. See Wyoming in Miss Ellen’s Gallery.

From September through May we're open to guests seven days a week. Between June and August guests may reserve rooms or cabins on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays; we reserve Mondays - Thursdays for events such as our Volksmarching package, meetings, or retreats. We always reserve Second Saturdays for Scotch tasting attendees.

Our setting fosters discourse or offers a calm respite for folks who use imagination and feeling to create. Join us. Gaze at a gazillion stars. Explore. Curl up with a great book. Hear yourself think.

We accommodate two adults per room or cabin.
