MILDRED'S, established in 1982 on historic Capitol Hill, is a large double-turreted, 1890 Victorian, the perfect setting for traditional, caring B&B hospitality. The home has been maintained in its original Victorian style with beautiful natural wood in the entry and stairway. Lace curtains, red carpets, grand piano and fireplace create a feeling of welcoming warmth and security. A common area offers the convenience of a drop-down ironing board with mirrored door, a refrigerator, sink, instant hot water tap with the makings for coffee or tea, home-made cookies, telephone and reading material. MILDRED'S special touches, like coffee and juice to your room one-half hour before breakfast, make guests feel truly pampered.
