There is always something going on in Key West. Whether you plan to be here mid summer for Hemingway Days or late October for Fantasy Fest, or maybe you feel the need to don your parrothead hat for Jimmy Buffett's Parrothead "Meeting of the Minds" in early November. There is certainly a festival, event or fishing tournament every month of the year.
Key West Activities...Our Florida Keys are surrounded by the waters of the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico. There is plenty to do to enjoy our gin clear blue waters. Try snorkeling or scuba diving, set sail on a sunset cruise, kayak through the backcountry mangrove island, view dolphins in the wild, or cast a rod out and catch your dinner. In Key West there is something for everyone. If you are just here to get away from it all, you can just relax in the comfort of your vacation rental or enjoy one of our beaches.
Key West is full of great history. From the salvagers and spongers to writers and artists, some of the most famous people call Key West home for at least part of the year. One well known actress, Kelly McGillis, still owns a restaurant in Key West. Many of the fine dining establishments here on the island offer fresh local seafood every night. Dine on snapper, lobster & stone crab (in season), grouper and mahi mahi.

Inn Rooms 1 & 2 Center Court Historic Inn & Cottages. Steps from Duval Street, on a quiet lane just two blocks long, the upstairs rooms are located in a Ship Captain's home from the 1880's. Winning the prestigious Key West Award for meticulous detail in renovation, Rooms 1 and 2 feature gabled ceilings.
Light and airy, these unique rooms have private baths. Designed by an architect to maximize use of space, the bathroom is a part of the bedroom, not in a separate room. Azure porcelain tile delineates the bath from the rest of the carpeted room. The custom made shower has an obscure glass door; the toilet is behind swinging saloon-style doors. The vanity is built into the dormer window.
Downstairs is a very spacious common area with a large living room with French doors opening onto a tin-roof covered porch with wicker furniture, magazines, games and music to pass the tropical afternoons while relaxing from the stress of the real world.
