This intimate inn has a European flair and an unpretentious air. Robyn and Wolfgang Wendt's casual approach and warm welcome make you feel instantly at ease. They have over 20 years in the lodging and restaurant industry. With their love of travel and taste for adventure they find themselves far away from their families in New Zealand and Germany. They love to surround themselves with intriguing people and to share their Craftsman Bed and Breakfast and also tales of their adventures.
Like our grand salon and dining room, all our guestrooms are furnished with L.& J.G. Stickley furniture and have ocean views. Our sunny porch is perfect for peaceful privacy or gemuetlichkeit during afternoon gatherings. With the ocean as our front yard we offer a wealth of seaside activities and look forward to greeting you when you stay with us at Rhythm of the Sea. We promote peace and privacy. Our house is insulated well enough for considerate adults, however, young children find us tiresome. We have several rooms that can accommodate a family with well-mannered young people (sorry, no pets of any age!). Consider our Carriage House suite for young families with babe-in-arms or a toddler and we will bring the breakfast over for the adults! That way, you enjoy the bed and breakfast accommodation and your little one can be themself and not disturb the other guest's quiet time.
