Spencer Place Bed and Breakfast, Brooklyn, New York

In the heart of Brooklyn, our newly renovated 1870’s brownstone offers three guest rooms and a continental breakfast. The rooms feature original detail, lots of light, and comfortable furnishings. The multi-cultural neighborhood offers unique shopping and inexpensive dining, and is close to many Brooklyn museums and cultural institutions. Just one block away at Franklin St. Station catch the C or S trains for a quick trip to Manhattan or other Brooklyn destinations.

Located in Central Brooklyn, we border Bedford-Stuyvesant, Clinton Hill, Williamsburg, and Crown Heights. Note: The immediate neighborhood offers varied shopping and dining at bargain prices, including Bistro Lafayette, 9 West, Al’s Men’s Shop, Foot Locker, Magic Joe’s Shoes, Ashley Stewart, Sistas’ Place and Bush Baby Café. Multi-cultural establishments such as African clothing stores and markets, Carribean music, food and clothing shops, and Halal food markets abound. The area is at a transportation nexus, with Spencer Place only a block from the Franklin Ave. C and S station, three blocks from the Nostrand Ave. A and C station, and three blocks from the Nostrand Ave LIRR station. Several bus lines going to Williamsburg, Ft. Greene, and Flatbush are also within a block.

All rooms have 10 foot ceilings, a closet, cable TV, AC, and an internet connection. The bathroom is shared. There is a computer station in the common area, and limited business services are available at our office. Rooms are up one and a half flights of stairs. There is no smoking inside. Kids welcome

Breakfast is a mostly organic spread of coffee, juice, milk, cereal, muffins, fresh fruit, etc. in the kitchenette.

Our common room has a computer and printer with internet access, and a sitting area with lots of books and mags.

The bathroom is shared among the Franklin, Bedford and Hancock Rooms by no more than five guests.
