The eight individual guest rooms, each with a private bath, are decorated using quilts, antiques, art pieces and wood-clad ceilings or walls. Some rooms have sitting areas, private entrances and decks - but all make you feel like you're immediately welcome and staying at a special bed and breakfast!

Some guests prefer the separation provided by the romantic Hillside Lodge, located 100 yards across the lawn and overlooking the wooded forest slope. The cabin-like feel of the four rooms - the two upper rooms with a cathedral wood ceiling, sitting area with fireplace and deluxe bath with Jacuzzi tub - is perfect for a special getaway. Each room has a deck to enjoy the flowering dogwoods of spring, the cooler mountain days of summer, the vibrant fall foliage or the painted winter sunsets.

We're known for our hearty breakfasts! The aromas of brewing coffee, sizzling bacon, freshly baked casseroles and warm biscuits often awaken the guests. We serve breakfast at 9:00 A.M. on antique Fiestaware in the large dining area. We try to meet special dietary needs or different serving times when known in advance.

Main lodge - Our large country estate home nestled on a wooded hilltop offers nine comfortable guest bedrooms, each with a private bath, and some with private entrances, sitting areas and decks. Guests immediately appreciate the warm country decor that includes quilts, regional arts and antique accent pieces that provide an ecclectic and "rustic" sense of style. The two-story wood-lined Great Room, complete with a wood burning stove, reading nook and library/TV/Game loft area, provides a true mountain lodge feel. Hillside Lodge - The romantic 'cabin-like' building has four rooms, each with a separate deck, and is located on the edge of the forest slope. Summer woodland views and winter sunsets make these rooms perfect for that special getaway. Upper rooms have cathedral wood ceilings, sitting areas with fireplace, and deluxe bath with both a shower and two person jacuzzi tub.
