Lodge at River’s Edge has been welcoming guests to the Basalt area since 1990. Situated on two private riverfront acres, dominated by the snow-capped majesty of Mt. Sopris in the distance, you are only two blocks from the downtown district of charming Basalt. You will find yourself only minutes away from restaurants ranging from casual fare to gourmet cuisine, unique shops, and art galleries. Lodge at River’s Edge is open year-round for your convenience. We have several different rental options including: a 4 bedroom house, 5 bedroom house, the Garden Room (a single suite) and the cabin. When you rent the Lodge as either a 4 or 5 bedroom house you have access to the Lodge living and dining rooms which share a 17-foot high rock fireplace. In the well furnished kitchen, Lodge guests will find all they need to prepare simple or gourmet meals that can be enjoyed on the deck, weather permitting of course, or in the sun-filled dining room, both of which overlook the Frying Pan River.accommodate a hot tub available to guests year-round. If you require chef services, let us know in advance. We are happy to suggest several local excellent chefs. the Cabin - Tucked into the landscape is an historic log cabin, originally built by Colorado Midland Railroad workers in 1896, and restored in 1996. The cabin comfortably sleeps two or four guests and includes a fully-equipped kitchen, coffee maker, gas grill, cable TV with DVD Player, a bedroom with a queen bed, a loft with two twin beds, radiant in-floor heating and a wood stove. The cabin is a favorite among our guests!!

the Lodge at River’s Edge - has four distinctive guest rooms, each with a private bath. Each room has its own special character, ambience and décor. All of the rooms feature an unobstructed view of the river complete with the soothing sound of water rushing over rocks and boulders. All have feather beds, luxurious linens of 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton, down comforters and pillows. Each room also has a refrigerator, coffee maker, personal hair dryer, and a massager for easing those tired muscles at the end of a long day of outdoor recreation.
