Located in the heart of the Historic District, imagine spending the night in a 250 year old home that was once used as a clubhouse by three signers of the Declaration of Independence. And late at night...

Start the day with coffee or tea, while reading the morning paper in the double salon. Then join the other guest to enjoy a delicious breakfast that includes a hot entree, fresh seasonal fruit, and home-baked muffins or pastries.

Relax at the end of the day on the brick patio surrounded by gardens, or curl up in your room with a bowl of popcorn and watch a recent movie.

The Georgian House is centrally air conditioned, and discounted convenient parking is available.

Our four guest rooms are attractively furnished, each with its own unique color scheme, coordinated fabrics and old world charm. The comfortable queen sized beds have distinctive styles with double mattresses, and are fitted with soft 100% cotton sheets to insure an exceptionally good night's sleep. The private baths and 16 inch walls insure privacy and quiet throughout the house, allowing each room to have it's own TV/VCR. A large library of books and videotapes, a microwave and beverages are available for our guests.

Thomas Stone Suite - The bedroom has a queen-size, rice carved poster bed, with non-working fireplace. The large private bath has a ball and claw foot tub. The Thomas Stone Suite has two large romantic rooms decorated in fashionable 18th century style. The private sitting room has a gas fireplace, convertible sofa/bed, lounge chair and TV.

Samuel Chase Room - The Samuel Chase Room is cozy and romantic, with a queen-size sleigh bed, non-working fireplace, and TV. The large private bath has a stall shower. Relax on your own private deck, overlooking our colorful gardens with a cup of tea and a good book.

William Paca Room - The bedroom has a luxurious queen-size sleigh bed and large comfortable chair for reading or watching TV. The private bath has a large shower. The William Paca Room is a warm eclectic blend of old world color, tapestries and paintings.

Charles Willson Peale Room - The bedroom area has an elegant wrought iron queen-size bed and antique wood armoire. The private bath has a stall shower. The Charles Willson Peale Room is charmed with exposed beams and sloping ceilings that date to the late 1700s. The sitting area has a comfortable convertible love-seat/bed and TV.
