The Historic Smithton Inn, Ephrata, Pennsylvania

All rooms can be candle lighted. Guest rooms are picturesque and provide a romantic setting for visitors. The Inn is furnished with antiques and hand made furniture, that are all appropriate to the period. Each room has an operating fireplace. Most rooms have hand sewn Dutch quilts, reading lamps, stencils, and mini-refrigerators. Feather beds are stored in antique blanket chests, and must be requested in advance, before the rooms are made up. All rooms have traditional white walls with a dominant color used elsewhere. Most rooms have canopy and four poster beds; some with whirlpool tubs.

The Smithton Inn is located about sixty miles west of Philadelphia.

Upon request, a feather bed can be put upon your bed to sleep on. A full breakfast is included. After check-in till 9 pm, free snacks are available for guests. The Smithton Inn is a non-smoking inn.

YELLOW DAHLIA ROOM - A bright and sunny room with Queen four-poster size bed, with headboard canopy. Small refrigerator. Sitting area with fireplace, upholstered chairs, reading lamps and desk. Private bath with shower only.
GOLD SUNFLOWER ROOM - This lovely room has a Queen size canopy bed with sunflower quilt. Sitting area with fireplace, upholstered chairs and reading lamps. Private bath with shower only. First floor room faces back gardens.
PURPLE DIAMOND ROOM - Extra special room for a quiet get-a-way, anniversary, honeymoon, etc. A King size bed, an extra large sitting area with couch, upholstered chairs, reading lamps and fireplace. A bright room with windows facing the back gardens. Bathroom with heated tile floor, double size whirlpool tub and shower. Refrigerator, and TV/VCR in room.
BLUE BIRD ROOM - A Double size bed with full canopy of blue velvet curtains. Sitting area with upholstered chairs, reading lamps, desk, fireplace and small refrigerator. Private bath with tub and shower.
RED ROSE ROOM - A very cheery room, includes a Queen four-poster bed with Lancaster County Red Rose quilt. Sitting area with fireplace, upholstered chairs, reading lamps and small refrigerator. A private bath with single whilrpool tub, no shower. Room faces back of inn.
CHOCOLATE BROWN ROOM - A bright room which faces toward town. Queen size bed with canopy. Sitting area with fireplace, upholstered chairs, reading lamps and desk. Private bath with tub and shower.
