Old Town B&B, Albuquerque, New Mexico
Old Town Bed and Breakfast, a peaceful urban oasis nestled in a quaint, residential neighborhood. Mexican Saltillo tiles in the guest rooms and sturdy hand-hewn vigas (log beams) bestow a true southwestern feeling. Built in the 1940s the residence exemplifies the Pueblo Revival style and architecture of Leon Watson, builder of fine adobe homes. Guests may relax in the serenity of beautiful, secluded gardens or visit Historic Old Town. A leisurely walk along Tiguex Park with its lovely shade trees, inviting open space and state-of-the-art playground equipment takes you directly to the Plaza, the heart of Albuquerque’s heritage. Here you can visit San Felipe de Neri church, founded in 1706. Explore many small patios and back streets where you will discover art galleries, clothing stores, trading posts and specialty shops.
A generous, healthful breakfast is served on the patio or in the dining room depending on the weather. With an eye for appeal and variety a typical “chef’s choice” menu would include a choice of juice accompanied by an individual fresh fruit dish
