The inn was designed and built in 1995. It has 8 guests rooms named after Colorado Creeks. Each guest room is individually decorated to make the guests experience unique. The inn has a Mediterranean feel. The cherry woodwork, the golden-glazed hand-plastered walls, and the fine art give the inn a wow factor. All of the art in the inn is original art. Most of the art is on consignment from the Columbine Gallery. The breakfasts are special. On one day the breakfast might include a savory dish-eggs in bacon baskets or artichoke frittata, a fruit dish and homemade breads. Another day the breakfast might include a sweet dish-pecan Belgian waffles with peaches sauteed in peach brandy or stuffed French toast with breakfast meats to the side. Guests are treated to a quiet, peaceful setting with spectacular views of mountains to the west and Lake Loveland to the east. Interesting wild life frequent the area and are sometimes visible from the guest decks. The major markets of the inn are corporate guests, art patrons, leisure travelers and golfers. The screened in porch is a special place to sip wine and watch the fabulous Colorado sun sets. In 2000 Cattail Creek Inn was chosen for membership in Select Registry-Distinguished Inns of North America. Cattail Creek Inn will charge a 50 percent deposit to the credit card on file.
