The garden design and the private balconies of the Sandpiper Gulf Resort give this unique resort a warm and friendly atmosphere. Enjoy 315 feet of beach on the Gulf of Mexico conveniently located in the quiet center of Fort Myers Beach. Within a short walk there are restaurants and a convenience store. A wide range of gift and clothing stores are a few minutes in either direction. A par 3 golf course and tennis courts are only 2 miles to the south. The entire island -7 miles in length- is accessible by walking on the white sandy beach as well as by roadside sidewalk. Trolley service is also available.This is not another huge high-rise building. Sandpiper has only 2 stories on the poolside and 3 on the beach front set in a lushly landscaped courtyard atmosphere. Sandpiper II with its own pool and tropical gardens has 5 floors serviced with an elevator. The resort has a total of 63 suites. The Sandpiper Gulf Resort has had the privilege of serving our guests since 1969. We pride ourselves on our large well-maintained and modern suites and place a high priority on customer service. As a privately owned condo hotel our minimum age requirement is 25 years of age. Unless accompanied by an adult over 25 years old.
