Situated on more than six secluded acres of field and forests, two miles from the village of North Conway, The Buttonwood Inn on Mt. Surprise offers a peaceful, rural setting and the convenience of being close to everything.
Accommodations...An 1820s farmhouse, the inn retains its country atmosphere with wide pine floors, Shaker furniture, antiques, quilts, and period stenciling.
Guest Rooms...All of our guest rooms are individually decorated. Each room has a private bath and outgoing phone. One guest room has a gas fireplace and another room has a gas fireplace, two person jacuzzi and is wheelchair accessible. Family rooms are also available. Photos are now available of every room!
Breakfast...Each day begins with the early morning smells of freshly brewed coffee and the muffins Elizabeth offers daily. Enjoy a full breakfast, with a choice of entree, that is made to order and served piping hot. Dine at your own table. Common Areas...We have retained the country atmosphere throughout our 1820s farmhouse with wide pine floors, antiques, period stenciling, quilts and Shaker furniture. In the cooler months, afternoon tea can be sipped in front of the fire in either our main floor living room or the more casual atmosphere of our lower level family room. For your convenience, our family room is equipped with a full refrigerator, TV/VCR, movies, games, books and magazines.
