Fox Creek Inn, formerly the Tulip Tree Inn, noted for its warm ambiance, fine dining and inviting guest rooms, is nestled on six and one half wooded acres along a bubbling trout stream in the Green Mountains of Central Vermont, ten minutes north east of Rutland. When you come to Fox Creek you will get a chance to relax and enjoy life as it should be enjoyed, at a slow pace. Dining - Each night at Fox Creek you will be offered a menu with a choice of appetizers, salad, main entrees and deserts. Here you will find excellence in dining. We use only the freshest ingredients. We have over 250 choices of wines from the world over, many in older vintages you will not often see and at prices you will find hard to believe. Served by candlelight with a little Mozart in the background, you will be treated to a dining experience, not just a meal.
Breakfast is another important part of your stay at Fox Creek. The day begins with freshly brewed coffee, tea or decaf, along with a selection of juices, fruits, yogurts, cereals, and homemade sweet breads. All of this is just a warm-up. Next comes a hot entrée such as fluffy Blueberry Pancakes, Maple Belgian Waffles, or our special Cinnamon Swirl French Toast served with Vermont sausage or crisp bacon. You would be challenged to be able to eat again until it is time for dinner.

First, the amenities we do not have: televisions, telephones, room service or valet parking.
What we do have are immaculate rooms with firm mattresses, fine bedding and exceptional linen. Our larger rooms are air conditioned; some have a fireplace and most have Jacuzzi bath tubs.All rooms have fluffy terry bathrobes and hair dryers. Each guest room and bath has it's own heat control.
Just think of it as BACKWOODS LUXURY! All of our rooms have private baths. Most have Jacuzzis, and all have some of the fluffiest towels you have ever seen.
