Our small hotel, located in the center of New York City, is perfect for all budgets, featuring creatively designed theme rooms as featured in our gallery below. Conceived by well known European designer Robert Graf, and hand painted by local artists, each room transports you to a new realm of fantasy. The hand-painted halls are sunny and decorated with the New York skyline. Custom made star fixtures punctuate the ceiling, and the shiny stainless steel floors and slate & marble bathrooms (Called a delight by the New York Convention and Visitors Bureau) complete the high-tech designer digs. Manhattan's hip Chelsea district is full of avante garde art galleries, cool music clubs, bargain-priced shopping, trendy restaurants and fun bar scenes like Mustang Sally's and Down Time - all within a five minute walk of the Chelsea Star Hotel.
