The views from the top of Mount Battie are as spectacular in winter as they are in the spring and summer. There are always interesting things to do in the village, and the cool invigorating air invites winter sports. You can choose from downhill and cross-country skiing, snow shooing, tobogganing, and ice-skating. With ruddy cheeks and tired limbs, come back to the Inn for a mug of warm cider or hot tea, sit in front of a wood burning fireplace or gather by the coal fired Queen Atlantic stove to warm your body and your spirit. This is as good as it gets.
