Overall it was pretty enjoyable. We didn't appreciate in a late check out that the maid kept trying to get in as we were trying to take a Nap with an 18 month old son.

Positives: Vaulted ceilings, floors didn't leave black on your feet if you walk barefoot.
Negatives: We asked for a late checkout and we're called twice and maid tried to come in twice.

Rate was good, people nice, not comfortably conversant in English (Chinese) but helpful, sort of. It met our needs, here only for a football game. Sort of run down.

The location is in a rundown part of town, the building and rooms have not been kept up. The toilet was loose from the floor, the bathtub drain was very sluggish and, on the second night we realized .....

A smoking room was booked. I did not want a smoking room. I had to pay extra to get a non-smoking room.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a great location. The room was clean and had nice amenities.

I did not like the hotel stay, very upset at being charged for internet access, no ironing setup inside the rooms. The heater was very noisy. I was so unhappy, I checked out one day early.

If all you are looking for is a cheap hotel in Pasadena, go across the street to the Best Western. It can't be as noisy or uncomfortable as the Travelodge was.
