A secluded enclave of thoughtfully restored early- to late-19th century buildings and separate (and very private) guesthouses, Hoffman Haus reflects the German heritage and welcoming spirit of the Texas Hill Country. Located less than two blocks from Fredericksburg's historic downtown, two and one-half acres of landscaped gardens invite you to stroll and linger. Our featherbeds offer the best night's sleep you can remember. Our leather sofas and chairs invite you to put your feet up and relax. Our cozy library in the Main Hall offers hundreds of books and videos for you to take to your room to enjoy. Our kitchens tempt with organic produce and gourmet cooking that caters to your dietary wishes.
Most of all, our staff takes to heart the notion that YOUR comfort is our pleasure. Whether you want extra firewood delivered to your door (most of our rooms and suites have their own fireplaces) or a basket of fine handmade chocolates waiting for your arrival, we are ready to make your wishes come true.
We also welcome all kinds of pets.
There are neither additional charges for pets nor weight limits. We do ask guests to be responsible for any damage their pets may cause and that pets not be left in the room alone unless they are confined (housekeeping may need to enter the room to deliver fresh towels, etc.). For guests without pets, Hoffman Haus has resident kitties that are ready to amuse and entertain guests in exchange for tummy rubs and chin scratches.
RATES
$120-$375 per night; includes full hot gourmet breakfast delivered to guest's door. (Traveling pooches get homemade biscuits, too!)
