Hitchcock House, Monhegan Island, Maine
The Hitchcock House sits tucked in the woods at the top of Horn Hill, overlooking Monhegan village, harbor, and lighthouse. Open year-round, we offer comfortable rooms in Monhegan's relaxed style. Four rooms share a common entrance. Our twin room overlooks the maple tree and backyard. Our double room has an old-fashioned bed tucked under the eaves. These two rooms share a bath.
We also have two efficiencies with living and kitchen area, private bath, small bedroom, and private deck. Both overlook the lighthouse and meadow. The Studio, a separate cabin, includes a kitchen, bedroom, and bath with shower. Everyone enjoys the outdoor deck and grill. Our hammock is also available for guests--unless Miss Kittycat gets to it first. Join us and let the peacefulness of our small island home work its wonders on you.
