Another Second Penny Inn, Stonington, Connecticut
Another Second Penny Inn was built about 1710 and is located just a few hundred feet from the historic Road Church. The Inn was once operated as a tavern, and the entire upper story on the west side was a dancing hall.
Another Second Penny Inn features two large patios and extensive grounds. A five course breakfast is served Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. The menu uses seasonal ingredients and highlights New England recipes. On Sundays, breakfast is served until 11:30. Coffee, tea, cocoa, and baked goods are available in the dining room starting at 7:00 a.m. everyday.
All of our rooms include private telephone with voice mail, wireless internet access (DSL), television with cable and VCR/DVD, seasonal air conditioning, refrigerator, hair dryer, bathrobes, CD player and am/fm clock radio.
