Yellow House On Clark's Hill Bed and Breakfast, Oakfield, Maine
The Yellow House Bed & Breakfast, in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and shadows of Mt. Katahdin, is located half way between Boston and Prince Edward Island and just a little over 2 hours from Campobello Island and St. Andrews by the Sea. We are minutes from the new International Appalachian Trail from Cape Fortuna, Gaspee Peninsula, Quebec, Canada to Mt. Katahdin, Baxter State Park, Maine.
Being in the Great North, our location is ideal to view the fall foliage first before the crowds descend upon New England, to enjoy "old man winter's "thousands of miles of groomed snowmobile and cross-country ski trails connecting the Great State of Maine with the Canadian provinces of Quebec and New Brunswick, and summer's acres of wild lupine and potato blossoms while exploring Maine's Acadian Heritage and the St. John River Valley, New Brunswick Canada's Gulf of St. Lawrence coast, Quebec's gorgeous Gaspee Peninsula, and Maine's downeast coast and Bay of Fundy Trail. Our location is ideal as a jumping off point to the extraordinary beauty and friendly hospitality that awaits you in Atlantic Canada.
